Adam has over 20 years of experience spanning both sides of the construction industry — as a quantity surveyor working on commercial and residential projects, and as a RICS Registered Valuer conducting home surveys across Yorkshire and the wider UK.
This tri-chartered background is genuinely rare and genuinely valuable. When Adam surveys your home, he brings commercial construction knowledge that most residential-only surveyors lack. When he advises on your construction project, he understands the surveying and valuation implications that pure QS practitioners may miss.
Adam founded Volarex in 2019 to bring this breadth of expertise to individuals, developers, and businesses who need straightforward professional advice — without the overhead of large corporate surveying firms.
His qualification as a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIArb) means Volarex can also assist with construction disputes, quantum analysis, and adjudication support — an extension of the QS role that very few practices offer.
